Forest School Training: Teacher Daisy (Basic)

“Basic Forest School Training with Teacher Daisy” is an experiential training experience. The training session will happen in the woods.

Teacher Daisy will be delivering the program to our fellow trainees. Teacher Daisy has many years of experience in the forest and with working with children and families in the forest. She’s our key trainer for our coaches and volunteers since 2018, after moving to the Dairy Farm Forest area.

This workshop, is made for educators / parents / individuals to understand the Forest School through an experiential journey without the typical the Powerpoint and Notes. You will experience and connect with the knowledge and experience of Teacher Daisy and the assisting Coach on the day of the training.

Some of the take-aways:
– Understanding of how children and nature co-exist harmoniously.
– Understanding of the development of children in nature.
– Understanding the dynamic of nature.
– How to safely conduct a session with children in nature.
– Better understanding of what forest school is about.

Ex-Trainees of FST will also enjoy the benefit of the “CONTINUITY OF FST” initiative.
