“Mastery of the Mind”
This module is a deeper understanding of the process of learning which we have. From the understanding, we will be able to better comprehend and support the behaviours of our learners. The module will also dive into the much misunderstood world of special needs and their enigmatic range of sensation.
Content & Agenda of Training Module
(i) LEARNING UNDERSTANDING OF A CHILD
To understand the basic aspect of learning and understanding that a child makes through their growth.
(ii) COMPETENCE MODEL – Noel Burch
To understand how the consciousness of one’s competence affects their learning and development
(iii) ZONE OF PROXIMAL DEVELOPMENT – Lev Vygotsky
To understand the support that we can give a child via scaffolding while understanding the zone of development they are in.
To understand the way that children make sense of their world through different repeated patterns of behaviours.
(v) X-MEN: SPECIAL PEOPLE
To change our mindset about what is special needs, and how we can empower our own senses and ability to connect with different children and people.
