‘Youth Adventure’ is an experimental program specially curated for teens aged 13 years old and above. It will be a 6-weeks program where participants will be making memories from new experiences, empowered with leadership skills to grow as an individual through self-discovery.
Youth Adventure was created and led by Coach Tesh, Adeline and See Yee (alumni coach). The various adventure experiences also serve as a platform for teens to build healthy relationships while engaging in exciting engagements. We believe that our youth participants will grow in leaps and bounds from this program.
Backstory: We, at FSS have been receiving pockets of requests from families and parents about wanting to have a set-up for Youth with the Forest School philosophy. There has been an increase in youth mental and emotional health issues; not to mention digital & social issues, that we felt compelled to attempt something no one would try in Singapore (a long-term outdoor and Nature program for youth). It is intended to be more challenging than the usual Forest School, but still retain that freedom and choice in the way it is being conducted. Hence, we set up an executive committee led by the Youth Adventure coaches, to dive deep into the enquiries, understanding and design of such an initiative. After close to 9-months, we are now ready to put the program out there.

| 5 Nov: Clementi Forest Exploration | Get deep into the lush forest, splash around in the wild wild wet, and take note of orienteering landmarks! 📍Location: Clementi Forest |
| 12 Nov: Map Up Keppel Hill | Chart new territory as we find our way up Keppel Hill, learning how to orientate maps and sketch out newly discovered paths along the way. 📍Location: Keppel Hill Reservoir |
| 19 Nov: Clementi Forest – Youth-led | Find your way once more through the forest, using your own maps and guidance… 📍Location: Clementi Forest |
| 26 Nov: Ruins & Beginnings | Explore the terrain, marvel at ruins, and start building a natural basecamp at the summit of the Hill! 📍Location: Bukit Batok Hillside Park |
| 03 Dec: Basecamp Completion | Back at the Hill, finish up the basecamp with all its bells and whistles, and set off for some mini expeditions. 📍Location: Bukit Batok Hillside Park |
